I sorry my previous answer was with my phone and I did not write it very well, shit of english. You must not use LAA with 1.87. However your problem can be other problem.

Do you play with vertical sync? what is your computer? I always ask this, in fact it is a rule in the forum when you ask help. Unfortunately, I can not help you, I can not see any problem looking a video. I will continue playing my game and if I finish it, probably being destroyed by the AI, if I finish my game, I will not search more problems. This game, it is a old game, even with all fixes, it has hidden problems, many relationated with lack of resources because even with the LAA integrated into the game, it is not a 64bits program, it does not use all the ram memory, just parts and clearly it is a single core game. At the end, we can not  ask pears to the elm.

Arrr, cause I justed installed win10 with same issue but alteast their is a error.
Helpfully can be fixed at some point.

PS on next update would it be poosible to change picture set with real people including Grand Tarkin. Thanks.

We have good luck, I receive the answer about the minidump now and I can easier search a solution. It will take some of time but now I know where I must search. Cross your fingers.

If you want reduce the time searching the problem, you can play map always against a single faction. Perhaps the problem is at one single faction but I do not know what of them and I must test one by one, clearly it goes to take some of time......

I have the same issue as Sony.  The game will play, then suddenly the screen freezes, but hte sound keeps working, and then I get the minidump message.  I have your WC mod, and it works fine.  Both are excellent games so far.  Have you been able to track down the error for Alliance?

What type of map did you play? with how many factions?

was the large map "Random Huge Multi"  and was full 10, then 8 player slots.  Me vs AI.  I had all setting to low, and cargo ships off.

I believe that you have your answer, big maps never run very well. The game has limits, even if in the last versions from the game, they implemented the large address aware inside the same game, it continue being a problem.

If you do not know, in the last versions, you can not use the LAA as an additional program because it is added inside the game.

I had seen the update that LAA is now in the game so dont use it.  So the mod plays just cant have a lot of players out there.  Kinda stinks, but its not a game breaker.  Do you have any idea what might be causing it?  Either way, this and your WC are excellent mods.  THank you for htem.

From my point of view, just the game and running big maps. Even the original game can give these errors. It is a old game created at 2008, it is a 32bits games, it does not use more of one single core and even if it uses the LAA, it has memory problems. Perhaps one day, they release a most modern similar game with a 64bits engine and we will not see these problems.

Well theres hope someday the technology catches up to our imaginations.  Ive been a Star Wars fan for a long time, and you made a great Mod.  I also loved the Wing Commander series, and again, youve made a great mod.  keep up the great work, and as a fan of these universes, Thank you.

I played many sins mods. Its a mod specific problem. Some mods run fine with huge maps others dont. You cant say which one will run fine before you have tested it. Looks like the wc mod has a problem with it so unfortunately there isnt anything you can do about that.
