Polaris Sector Alliance 1.06e Patch 3 Released

I have made some changes and I have published a new patch at http://www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-polaris-sector-alliance/downloads

It is the patch 3 for the 1.06d&1.06e. Probably you will be curious about because this patch is for both versions. The reason is how it works with both versions and the unique difference is to run with the new scenarios adding the Star Wars Galaxy, it is a feature only from the 1.06e.

Another point. Probably the new scenarios runs with game versions before 1.06d. Never with 1.06d.

For help you downloading the mod, I have set as Old-Obsolete the versions which you do not need if you have the game updated with the last 1.06e.

The last versions are set as Active.

DLC Lumens is only neccesary if you want play with the First Order or against this faction.

These are the additions from the patch 3:
-Cells improvements.
-Ships improvements.
-Descriptions improved.
-First Order can build all the ground units.
-New Galaxies scenarios added.
-Small fixes and improvements in other files.
-Previous patches additions.

Now. You will need these things if you want play the mod.

This is the basic installation.

-Uncompress the mod with winrar in the main game folder.

-Search the file REMEMBER.CFG into the new folder named Polaris_Sector_Alliance and cut it, paste the file into the folder ..\Documents\My Games\Polaris Sector\.. , overwrite the file into it.

-Launch the game. Remember, this version version from the mod is only translated to English. You must select the English in the game settings.

-Mod uninstall. Open the file REMEMBER.CFG into the folder ..\Documents\My Games\Polaris Sector\.. and replace the line CurrentModPath "Polaris_Sector_Alliance/" by //CurrentModPath "Polaris_Sector_Alliance/"

The mod adds a complete list of credits if you want to know about them.

Great update to a great mod. I do have one question.What do i need to research to get the first order star killer base.? And one request. Can you fix the mod to allow the larger ship to carry the stellar engery converter?

The StarKiller base is set as a super orbital base. You should see it after research the DSCORE and the SUPERLASERDS. However, I can not say for sure because the First Order is made over the Lumens and this faction is a bit strange with research stuff.

I know, the StarKiller was not a orbital station but in the moment from the addition, it was my best option, perhaps in a future I can make a different thing. I could make it as the Death Star but........the Starkiller has not movement, it is a planet itself. You must understand how it is not easy because I must adapt it for the game features with each new thing.

Now, probably I should try to make it as a Planet (but I do not know if I can add a planet with a different model) and the Starkiller planet could replace the Ilum planet in the begining. However.......how can it fire? it should be better as a orbital station where you build the super laser effect and you move it around the galaxy destroying planets. It is the unique way which I see for it.  ::)

Thanks. Still have not found the star killer base but i will keep looking. By the way can you make it so the steller converter nad subversion modules are availbe to large.ships. in some of your older versions this was an option.

I think about StarKiller and i see it as DS destroy planet interface button, but link it to planetary building on StarKiller unique planet class.
And question: First Order faction not able to build farms, if i change Energy Lifeform starting parameter. It is intended?

Bug? No hyperlines to star cluster https://imgur.com/a/75iZoRk and stars Eadu - Rhigar overlay https://imgur.com/a/EdEQL0d on FO scenario.
Also do not work map options on the start - always uses scenario options (Bogovans, Pirates, Domination). I removed Bogovans as race, all options in Galactic Civil War FO.scn - works as i wanted, but need start new game.

More bugs. After research Level 3 Fighters for FO, i have in editor level 4 and 5 fighters also.

It is not a bug. It is the unique way where all these units can be builded, there is a limit in the amount of units per type.
