What is your computer hardware?
« on: July 19, 2018, 03:45:47 AM »
I would like to know the computer hardware from the people playing my mods. Just the CPU and graphics card is insteresting.

If you want to know, this is my main computer.

i5-4690K
Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB

Additionally I have not send to the trash my old Intel Q6600 with a GTX 660 2GB and I use it sometimes, when I am out the city. It moves the FOC Alliance very well and the unique difference are the load timings. The last version (not released yet) loads in 50 seconds in the i5, in the Q6600 requires nearly 2 minutes. Nothing strange, previous versions did not load too more faster.

Now please tell me your computer hardware.

Thanks by share your computer hardware information. I find it very useful thinking about how some changes can affect to the performance more than others.

Continue sharing your information. Just perhaps you can share your loading time for the FOC Alliance. It would be at seconds from the first time that you see the splash screen showing the name from the mod to the load of the menu background battle.

Lately I got in my hands a small laptop from the past, a Sony Vaio TT, old but powerful for its size, a Intel U9400-4GB RAM and with a 128GB SSD. Thanks to it, it is very possible that I lose some of time after the FOC Alliance next update making a Light Alliance for poor computers only.

The Sony Vaio TT was closely to the trash. Have fun. ;D What others do not want, others can like.

Very interesting your computer RebelOne95. I was thinking to get a GTX 1050 Ti for my old Q6600 or upgrade it with a new CPU/RAM/Mainboard. The second option is the best but it requires many more money for a computer which I use sporadically, I would prefer upgrade my main computer. But the graphics card  upgrade can be better and cheaper if these graphics cards reduce their price the next months with the nvidia 1100 series release. There are many indicators about how the serie 1000 can be sold a lot cheaper than now.

About if somebody say how the Q6600 can not run the GTX 1050 Ti, search in youtube or google, there are many test about it. These CPU with a bit of overclocking can move modern games with this graphics card. ;)
