Star Wars Empire at War – FOC Alliance – Ground heroes can not be made better
This thread probably will start a long discussion, many of the players which they have not played too many RTS will not understand the main point because they were mostly players from action games but I find interesting the thread.
The point is how the ground heroes created as infantry units, not as vehicles, at least if they are powerful vehicles, they have the problem from how you do them without be killed at five seconds or after a lot of shots.
If they are killed at five seconds, they will be too weak and very useless.
If they are killed after many shots, probably they will look as invencible.
I know what you are thinking, the best way would be a balanced way and truly, it is created balanced but this is not a mod where there are just 6 type of vehicles and smaller number of infatry. Here there are thousands of different vehicles with different weapons and some of them are bad vs infantry units.
By default, most of the vehicles are bad vs infantry, their accuracy vs infantry is bad and their weapons are more powerful vs other vehicles from similar size or smaller. There are few exceptions but very few.
By this reason in this video attacking Korriban if I had chosen units with a better value vs infantry, it had looked better. It is the common problem judging these battles.
